Lead Extractor is made by Cosy Touch Limited, the company behind MiniWebtool.com.

The short version

This extension does not collect, store, transmit or sell any of your data. It reads a page only when you ask it to, and everything it finds stays on your own computer.

What the extension reads, and when

Nothing happens until you act. When you click the toolbar icon and press Extract, choose "Extract leads from this page" from the right-click menu, or press Alt+Shift+E, the extension reads that one tab and looks for email addresses, phone numbers and links.

• It has no host permissions, so it cannot run on pages by itself.
• It never runs in the background, and never on tabs you have not invoked it on.
• The page content is processed inside your browser and is discarded as soon as the results are produced.

The extension has no analytics, no trackers, and no account system.

What is stored on your device

Your settings, the results of your most recent scan, and — if you purchased Pro — your saved lead library. These live in Chrome's local extension storage on your device only. You can clear the library at any time with the "Clear" link in the popup, and uninstalling the extension deletes everything.

The information the extension finds

The extension surfaces contact details that are already published on the page you opened. It is a faster pair of eyes, not a new source of data. What you do with those details afterwards is your responsibility: if you contact people, please follow the marketing and privacy laws that apply to you and to them (for example GDPR in the EU, CAN-SPAM in the US), and honour any opt-out you are given.

Payments

The free features work without any purchase. If you choose to buy Pro, payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. A purchase creates a licence key tied to your order — we hold that key, the order reference and the email address you gave at checkout, so we can support you and honour refunds.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
