Payment Processing
When you subscribe to Pro or Premium, your payment card information is collected and processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI‑DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. MiniWebtool.com never sees or stores your full card number. We store only a Stripe customer reference, your subscription tier and status, and the email address you provided at checkout. Stripe's privacy policy applies to card data: https://stripe.com/privacy. Legacy subscribers who originally signed up via Patreon or PayPal continue to be processed by those providers under their respective policies. We use Google Analytics 4 to record aggregate traffic and conversion events for our subscription funnel; no personally identifying data is included.
MiniWebtool API Privacy Addendum
This section applies to the MiniWebtool API at api.miniwebtool.com. The API is a developer product and is separate from the consumer website's Pro and Premium subscriptions.
Account and billing data: When you create an API account, request an API key, or subscribe to an API plan, we may store your email address, organization name, project name, plan, subscription status, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, invoice or checkout references, billing cycle, credit grants, and related account-administration records. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe; MiniWebtool does not see or store your full card number.
API keys: API keys are shown only when created. We store a lookup prefix and a cryptographic hash of the key, not the full plaintext key. If you lose a key, you should create or rotate a new key rather than asking us to recover the old one.
API usage logs: To operate the API, prevent abuse, calculate credits, debug errors, and support customers, we may log operational metadata such as organization ID, project ID, API key ID, tool slug, tool version, request ID, status code, latency, credits used, input byte size, output byte size, IP address, timestamp, and a hash of the request input. We do not intend to store raw API request bodies for normal API calls. Some tools use stricter privacy modes and record only minimal metadata such as byte counts. If a feature such as idempotent retry handling stores a temporary response snapshot, it is used to return the same response safely on retry.
Security and abuse prevention: We may process API traffic metadata to detect leaked keys, unusual request volume, credential stuffing, fraud, scraping, SSRF attempts, port scanning, denial-of-service behavior, or other activity that may harm MiniWebtool, our users, or third parties. We may use this information to rate-limit, block, suspend, revoke keys, investigate incidents, or comply with legal obligations.
Retention: We retain API account, billing, credit, and usage records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve support questions, comply with tax and accounting obligations, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, and maintain security. Aggregated or de-identified statistics may be retained for product analytics and capacity planning.
Subprocessors and service providers: We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, payments, logging, monitoring, customer support, and infrastructure operations. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us. Stripe processes payment and billing information under Stripe's own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
Customer responsibilities: Do not send sensitive personal data, regulated health information, payment card numbers, passwords, API secrets, private keys, or other confidential information to API endpoints unless the endpoint documentation explicitly says it is designed for that data. You are responsible for the data you submit to the API and for providing any notices or obtaining any consents required for your own users.
Enterprise and DPA: Business and enterprise customers who need a Data Processing Addendum, security questionnaire, custom retention terms, or a list of subprocessors may contact us via the Contact page.
