Choose Instagram grid posting order under Number pieces (it is picked automatically for the 3x3 preset): the pieces are then labelled Post #1, #2 and so on, and the files are named post_1, post_2... so you can simply upload them in number order. For a carousel, keep reading order and add the slides from left to right.
