About AI Travel Itinerary Generator

The AI Travel Itinerary Generator turns a destination and a few preferences into a day-by-day plan you can actually follow: timed stops grouped by neighborhood, where to eat and what to order, what each stop costs and how long it takes, a rainy-day backup for every day, a packing list and local tips. Add it to your calendar in one click.

What you get

  • Days that flow. Stops in visiting order, grouped by neighborhood, with start times and durations, so you're not crossing the city three times a day.
  • A budget you can plan with. An estimated cost for every stop, added up per day and for the whole trip.
  • Backups built in. A rainy-day alternative for each day, switched in with one click.
  • Everything to check and book. A map link for every stop, and a Book ahead flag where tickets sell out.
  • Local know-how. How to get around, money and tipping, safety, etiquette and useful phrases, plus a season line and a packing list.
  • Calendar export. An .ics file for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

How to plan a trip

  1. Enter your destination and the number of days. Add your start date for seasonal tips and calendar export.
  2. Choose who's traveling, the pace, your budget and your interests, and add any notes.
  3. Click Plan my trip.
  4. Switch rainy days, check places on the map, then add the plan to your calendar or print it.

Tips for a better itinerary

  • Be specific about the destination: "Porto, Portugal" or "Banff National Park" gives better results than a whole country.
  • Pick two or three interests, not all of them, for a plan with character.
  • Use the notes for diets, mobility, where you're staying, or a must-do.
  • Keep one evening free on longer trips for the places you discover yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How does the AI travel itinerary generator work?

Enter your destination and how many days you have, and optionally your start date, who's traveling, pace, budget and interests. The AI plans each day as a list of timed stops grouped by neighborhood, with lunch and dinner, an estimated cost and a tip for each stop, and a rainy-day backup. The page adds up the daily and total budget and adds a map link to every stop.

Is it free?

Yes. Every day you get free AI runs, and a whole itinerary is one run. Switching to rainy-day plans, map links, calendar export, printing and copying are always free, and the example trips on this page don't use a run at all.

Can I add the itinerary to my calendar?

Yes. Set a start date and click Add to calendar. You get an .ics file that Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook can open, with every stop as an event at its time, including the tip and a map link.

How accurate are the prices and places?

The plan uses well-known places and typical prices, but prices, opening days and hours change. Treat the costs as a budgeting guide, use the map links to check each place, and book popular sights ahead where the plan says so.

Can it plan a trip with kids or for older travelers?

Yes. Choose Family with kids or Seniors / easy walking and the plan adjusts the pace and picks suitable stops, and you can add notes such as the children's ages or mobility needs.

What's the best way to use the plan?

Check the season line and local tips first, book the stops marked Book ahead, and keep the rainy-day backups in mind. Each day is grouped by neighborhood, so you spend your time exploring rather than traveling across town.
