Tips for a resume that gets interviews

• Lead with results. "Grew the newsletter from 1,200 to 4,500 subscribers" beats "Responsible for the newsletter".
• Tailor to each job. Use the job description's own words for skills you really have.
• Keep the format plain. Standard headings, no tables or text boxes, dates on every job.
• Cut the clichés. "Team player" and "results-driven" say nothing a good bullet doesn't show.

What is an ATS and how do I pass it?

An applicant tracking system is the software most employers use to collect and search applications. Recruiters search it by keyword, and it reads your resume more reliably when you use standard headings (Experience, Education, Skills), plain text rather than tables or text boxes, and clear date ranges. Paste the job description here to see which of its keywords your resume is missing.

Will the rewrites make things up?

No. The rewrites keep every fact from your original bullet and never add numbers: where a figure would help and your resume doesn't give one, the rewrite shows [X] so you can fill in the real number. Any number the AI adds that isn't in your original is replaced with [X] by code before you see it.

Is my resume private?

The instant ATS check runs entirely in your browser. When you ask for the full review, your resume is sent to the AI for that review only and isn't published or used to train models. Remove your phone number and address before pasting if you prefer.

Does it work for a CV?
