Color Harmonies Explained

The Color Harmonies panel appears after you pick a color. It is built from that color's hue, saturation, and lightness (HSL values), and it does not need any settings from you.

Complementary: one swatch with the hue directly opposite your color (180 degrees away on the color wheel).
Triadic: two swatches spaced 120 degrees before and after your color.
Analogous: two swatches that sit 30 degrees on either side of your color, so they look close to it.
Split-Complementary: two swatches 150 and 210 degrees from your color, on either side of its complement.
